Hi! I’m Samantha. A Health Coach, Life Coach and Yoga Teacher based in Anchorage, Alaska. Raised in Alaska, the oldest of 5 kids, I always dreamed of peace and quiet. I might even say my personal journey to wellness and harmony started with the birth of my first brother. It has become a lifelong commitment ever since.

Along with a commitment to personal wellness, I am a lover of travel and learning. I obtained my B.B.A. in Business Administration from Gonzaga University. Following graduation, I completed two terms of service with AmeriCorps in Philadelphia. I then went on to work as an Education Director with The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington DC. After 5 years on the East Coast, I finally crossed back West.

I gained great experience from managing small, locally owned businesses to running operations teams of mutlistate companies. However, my true passion is working directly with people and helping them become their best selves.

I was raised to be both active and competitive. And the lessons I learned on the playing field stuck with me. But, I experienced negative aspects from this as well. From restrictive eating and obsessive exercising, negative self talk and constant body comparisons I struggled to find my own direction.

My strive to be my best self will never end, but I was able to create an ideal shift. Instead of comparing myself to the images sold as “ideal”, I found more happiness in my natural beauty. This is what I love to share with others and help them find in themselves.

Knowing firsthand the challenges people face in their journeys, I started my Wellness Career in 2016.

I completed my ACE Certification in Personal Training and Nutrition Specialist training while working as an ESL Teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam. After moving back to The States, I completed my yoga teacher training with Padma Hare Yoga Shala in Brazil and am a RYT® 200. I then completed my Health and Life Coach Certifications through the Health Coach Institute, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

When not in the yoga studio or coaching, you’ll most often find me out on the trails with my dog Crash.
